Melissa Melgar is the Program Operations Manager with the Reproductive Health Program where she manages the team’s operations and works across the Foundation to strengthen cross-team collaborations.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Melissa was the Senior Program Manager for the Malaria Elimination Initiative at the University of California, San Francisco where she supervised the operations team, managed contracts from a wide range of donors, and worked across departments to improve project administration. Before moving to the Bay Area, she was a Program Officer at Management Sciences for Health in Arlington, VA where she helped provide technical support to Global Fund grantees.
Melissa holds a B.A. in International Relations & Community Health from Tufts University and an MPH with a focus on international health from Boston University
