Laura is a program associate for the David and Lucile Packard Foundation. She supports grantmaking operations for the Foundation’s work to advance a thriving, resilient, pro-equity U.S. democracy.
Laura joined the Packard Foundation in 2008 and has 15 years’ experience serving as a program associate on the Environmental and Science initiative supporting several initiatives including Climate and Global Seafood Markets. She also served as the Environment and Science program operations manager. Most recently she served on the Special Initiatives team within the President’s office where she managed the Special Initiatives grantee portfolio administration and cultivated grantee partnerships.
Prior to her tenure at Packard, Laura worked at several environmental non-profits in California, including Northern Sierra Partnership, Friends of Santa Cruz State Parks, and Sierra Business Council. Laura holds a BA in Journalism and English from the University of Texas at Austin.
