Jen is the grants data and operations director at the Packard Foundation. In this role, she is responsible for ensuring the Foundation’s end-to-end grantmaking process is continually improved and optimized to meet the Foundation’s needs today and in the future. Jen joined the Packard Foundation in 2017 as the program operations manager for the Conservation and Science program. In 2018, she transitioned to grantmaking process manager in Finance and Administration, developing the grantmaking process and team into what it is today.
Prior to joining the Foundation, she served for 15 years in numerous strategic business operations roles at technology companies in Silicon Valley, including eBay, VMware, and as most recently as Director of Services and Partner Operations at Hortonworks. Jen is a proud graduate of San Jose State University with a bachelor of science in Business and Management Information Systems.
Outside of work, Jen enjoys volunteering at local non-profits like Loaves & Fishes and Village Harvest, trying new restaurants with her family, and hanging with her rescue pup, Willow.
