Ra’iatea Lohe is a program associate for the Global Climate initiative, Climate Field Support, and Climate Innovation portfolios that fall under Environment & Science at The David and Lucile Packard Foundation. She supports grant management and programmatic aspects including outcomes, learnings, and partner relationship building domestically and abroad.
Ra’iatea has 12 years of experience working on climate and environmental issues. Prior to joining the Foundation, Ra’iatea worked on market analytics and sales for a natural climate solutions mitigation and habitat restoration company. Previously, she was a legislative correspondent in the U.S. Senate for the Office of Senator Schatz (D-HI) working on a wide variety of environment and climate policy, including budget requests for appropriations, a bill combating the drivers of illegal deforestation internationally, and work on the Senate Democrats’ Committee on the Climate Crisis.
Ra’iatea holds a B.A. in Environmental Science from Boston University and a Master of Business Administration from Lehigh University.
