New Alpha Community Development Corporation's mission is to empower and emancipate low- and middle-income communities, with a particular emphasis on environmental health and community economic development. The organization aims to develop more participatory democratic empowerment models that improve the lives of people and families by building assets and creating wealth for everyday people, focused within predominately black forested communities in South Carolina.
