to help make kids a leading issue in the policy discourse, putting their issues firmly on the national agenda as a priority during the early-state presidential candidate selection process, focusing strongly in Iowa

to raise the profile of children’s issues during the remainder of the presidential candidate selection process, as well as at the two major parties’ summertime national conventions, and during the general election campaign
